This morning we wrapped up our unit on maps and pirates by going on a treasure hunt! We figured out ALL of the clues, had a great time, visited many “islands ” (offices!), got tricked by sneaky pirates and their fake plastic gold, and got a sweet treat!
In JK we’ve been very busy preparing for Chanukah!
We’ve been reading, crafting, singing, and practicing our lines and our dance for the Family Chanukah Celebration. We explored light with some of our translucent dreidels and other toys on our light table, and we had our third visit from our Grade 4 reading buddies! Keeping busy!
This morning we won a gift certificate for the Scholastic book fair! Woo hoo! We got to pick some books from our class wishlist and some bookmarks for each of us! Thank you!!
